There are many different opportunities for integrating CC in logistics processes. In accordance with the SOA principle, CC features a standardised interface for the synchronised and asynchronous connection and management of third-party services for shipping code information sent to SAP® systems. On the one hand, the CC allows you to determine, for example, shipping codes independent of freight forwarders or manufacturers and to print address labels or generate labels for a particular shipment. On the other hand, you can also transmit your company-specific invoicing and accounting data including EDI data to the individual freight forwarders. Due to customised functionality, CC supports and optimises the administration and release of your shipments.
